The Midwest Jewish Artists' Laboratory is a regional arts initiative facilitating a wide array of work by five artist communities. Participants with varying connections to Judaism explore specific themes each year throughout eight months of study and art making using a variety of media. The program brings together artists who have an interest in the relationship between Jewish thought and their work, as individuals and in the community. Yearly exhibitions at the Minneapolis Sabes Jewish Community Center represent the culmination of work by local participating artists.
This program was made possible by a generous grant from The Covenant Foundation.
