ALL IN A DAY'S DREAM

Entering into a dream by day

or at the edge of night

Moving in and through places

that I am revisiting in my sleep

The direction seems to be determined

but not obvious

Sounds don't occur to me

There is no dialogue, but there is a story

I just can't remember it

Standing on a precipice

overlooking terrain I have known before

Here I am in soft focus, emerging

into the afterglow of a day's dream
